JACOBS & HUNT ESTATE AGENTS is an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors with a prominent office on the corner of Lavant Street and Charles Street about 80 metres from the mainline station and close to the centre of Petersfield, a delightful market town within the South Downs National Park.

These are headed by James Dodds. James joined the firm in 2001 becoming a Director shortly afterwards. Previously he worked in London and the Hampshire area for over 30 years and has gained an enviable network of contacts, ranging from private buyers to local and national builders and investors throughout the Petersfield area and surrounding villages, which enables him to provide a history of house prices, builds and comparable property sales values. 

The firm covers an area within a 20 mile radius of Petersfield for residential sales but regularly operates further afield for agricultural, professional and survey matters.

The firm is a member of the Property Ombudsman (Sales) which is fully approved and endorsed by the Office Of Fair Trading.

These are headed up by Christopher Brockhurst, FRICS FAAV, who specialises in agricultural matters, building surveys and planning issues. Christopher became a Chartered Surveyor in 1978 while in Winchester. After a short spell in East Anglia, he returned to the Alton, Guildford and Petersfield areas where he has been for the last 29 years.
